One of the greatest teachers of humanity, Jesus Christ, once said, “I tell you that if two of you on earth are in agreement about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For, where two or three come together in my name there am I with them.”

But where is this heaven of which Jesus Christ spoke?

A Guide to Your Supreme Power, reveals that heaven is not so much a place as it is a state of global being. It is a state of complete global agreement. A state of being during which there is no conflict within or between nations. But, for this state of agreement or harmony to occur, all of the world’s individuals must be fully godlike.

To be godlike is to be creative, loving, powerful, successful, compassionate, wisely forgiving, and all things good. It includes having the wisdom to understand the complexities and intricacies of life. Development toward godlikeness is the ultimate purpose of creation and human existence. Godlikeness within fosters agreement without.

Godlikeness enables humans to receive all that they desire...

We as individuals should strive to be more and more godlike each and every day.

Where is heaven?

Again, heaven is not so much a place as it is a state of being. It is a state of global godlikeness or total harmonious agreement on earth.

The condition of total global godlikeness characterizes heaven. The heaven of which Jesus often spoke is a state of global being. For this state to exist in full, both inside and outside of the individual, harmony between all nations is required.

Harmony between nations is a reflection of the individuals and leaders in those nations. It is more than

an absence of conflict; it is agreement.

Globalization (as opposed to separatism or sectarianism) is one of the primary forces leading to the state of agreement noted by Jesus Christ. Where ideas, practices, and technologies are shared, countries come to learn of and respect differing cultures. This breeds acceptance and eventual appreciation of the other. Agreement is inevitable. Why is there suffering?

In a perfect design by an omnipotent, omni-loving God-Creator, any suffering and wars that occur should be seen as a necessary part of human progress toward agreement, peace, and progress toward godlikeness.

For humans to be godlike, we must go through an individual and collective process that draws out and cultivates the godlike qualities within us. These qualities cannot be realized, unless we go through the transformational process—which may include what we call pain, suffering, and wars as well. Keep reading…

Why is there war?

Where we engage in war, we plainly exhibit our departures from godlikeness yet simultaneously propel ourselves forward toward godlikeness.

The process is perceived as painful—As such, humans grow, learn from, progress, and eventually overcome this unique behavior. Of course it is in our interest to avoid pain as much as possible. The more godlike people are, the less pain they experience.

In evolutionary creation, everything is in the process of becoming. When the element of time is removed from the analysis, it is easy to see that the entirety of the human journey toward godlikeness is essentially instantaneous.

Once humans discover the laws that drive God-Creator’s design in full (via scientific discovery), the act of evolutionary creation will be complete. At that point, a state of complete godlikeness and the global agreement it fosters is attained. This is the heaven of which Jesus Christ (and others) often spoke. Keep reading...
